As a major crisis is unfolding in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, many international finance institutions have deployed emergency packages involving intermediated lending, guarantees, and other forms of support to help small and medium enterprises to get through the downturn. Participants will learn about lessons drawn from past evaluations and discuss how these may apply in the current context. Gaps will also be identified, which may inform the design of future evaluations.
