Session 21: Using new criteria to evaluate national policies & programs in relation to global development goals

Participants will learn about the new evaluation criteria definitions and principles for use, including the new criterion Coherence. Through the presentation of interesting and relevant case studies from Sri Lanka and from China, they will learn how to apply the criteria in national contexts, to credibly evaluate progress on sustainable development. The session will also mark the launch of a new Chinese language version of the criteria definitions and key principles for use.
