Director, Sector and Project Division, Independent Evaluation Department, Asian Development Bank (ADB)
In his current role as Director, Sector and Project Division at ADB’s Independent Evaluation Department, he is part of the IED leadership team and oversees the evaluation of sector and project evaluations and validations, particularly in energy, transport, water, urban, finance, agriculture and natural resources, and all private sector operations. He has more than 24 years of professional experience, about 14 years of which were spent in ADB in the areas of independent evaluation and capital markets investment. Mr. Subramaniam holds Master's degrees in Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, USA and Civil Engineering from the University of Texas, USA. He completed his Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology. Prior to joining ADB, he worked for commercial Banks in the USA where he executed several high-profile capital market transactions managed by a wide array of leading asset managers."
