Md. Nuruzzaman PhD in Economics from the Department of Economics, University of Dhaka. He has started his career as a Monitoring Officer at the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and served major trining and research institutions in Bangladesh He also served DANiDA, KOICA, World Bank, UNDP, UNFP supported projects as consultants. Currently heading the Trining Department at the National Academy for Planning and Development,, Ministry of Planning, Dhaka. Dr Nuruzzaman is founder and current president of Bangladesh Evaluation Society.
