Mr. Sato is an evaluation expert for monitoring and evaluation and impact evaluation in development projects. Mr. Sato’s passion is to extract useful insights from quantitative data and qualitative information for policy/project making. Since July 2021, he has been promoting the application of GIS data, particularly remote sensing data, to project evaluations at JICA’s Evaluation Department. Prior to joining JICA, Mr. Sato worked as an evaluation consultant for nearly five years and conducted project evaluations for JICA across a range of sectors such as agriculture, education, and infrastructure.
