The opening session will welcome speakers and participants to the 2022 AEW with opening remarks from the hosts – IED and AFDI, outlining expectations on topical discussions towards plans for recovery.

Participants can learn the key factors that are important in institutionalization of evaluation at national level. They will also learn from experience of the panelists.
Participants will learn about novel evaluation approaches in the current EBRD context of multiple crises (Covid-19 and War on Ukraine and Climate Crisis), and will get prospects of how evaluation may employ new tools and procedures to remain relevant and useful.

Participants will learn the priorities and evidence of transformational change in investments to support climate action in the Asia and Pacific Region.
